May. 9th, 2007 09:30 pm A status update

It has been over two weeks since I last updated this journal. This is a remedy I would love to correct now, but can't for the same reason why it is an issue in the first place: time and the lack thereof. It's finals time again, and this time I'm actually trying to graduate, and posting the last part here requires just a little bit more then a quick copy and paste.

Technically speaking, I do have the last part of Joy Ride written, and I am happy with it with the exception of the very end. Since the story was being turned in for a graded workshop I had to cut some corners on the ending to get it done in time. I would like to paste those corners back on, but seeing as the reason I cut them was I wasn't sure what they were to begin with, this will take some time. I can't even post part of it in good consciousness because there is no logical place to put in a break.

A best case scenario is I get a chance to look at it over the weekend and post it. A worst case scenario is I have to wait until after I take my last final on Monday. A further complication is my laptop is ever slowly dying, and it is my primary Internet access point.

Rest assured that I do want to get the remainder up here and I will do so.

Hello. If you are reading this, then you probably were looking for some writing. You probably won;t be able to see much since I plan on posting a lot of it in friends mode for privacy reasons. Though if you friend me, I will probably be willing to friend you back.

If you stumbled upon here randomly, please look at my profile for a more detailed purpose statement then I will write here. There isn't much here yet, but I hope to put up more soon. I am making this one post just to make sure there is something here if people look at it.

Anyway, I hope you will enjoy the writings that are to come.
